The Roller Coaster Ride: Lebron Lost Again?

On Friday night, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Lebron James make that three point shot in the very last second of the game. His team won! A miracle. That's all I can say.

But when I checked the score for Sunday, I was dismayed to learn that Lebron and his Cavaliers lost by 10 points. I didn't watch the game so I don't know what happened, but this is a roller coaster of a series for Lebron James and his team.

Is your writing the same way: One day up and one day down? What can you do today to be more consistent with your writing?

You need to think about this. In order for you to get published: whether you're writing a book or an article, you've got to be consistent enough to finish it. If not, you'll never reach your audience. Believe me, if you've got something to say that's relevant and exciting, people will read. However, if you don't remain consistent and write daily, then you'll never know how many people will read what you have to write.

Whatever you do:
  • Keep writing
  • Get it edited
  • Reread it
  • Rewrite it
  • Let go of fear
  • Get published
Just take one step at a time, so you can reduce those ups and downs.

By the way, if the Cavs win the game tonight, they become one step closer to the championship. If they win two more games, then they'll become champions of the East. They just need to get off the roller coaster and be consistent. Sound familiar?

  1. consistency is the slogan to any winning team's longevity. I liked what you wrote here today. Thanks for the kick in the behind.
